What is ReDesign?
For those who feel that Interior Design is too costly or who may not want to part with their current furnishings, a ReDesign make-over is just for you.
Everyone should have a home they feel passionate about. Our objective is to maximize your homes functionality while creating a beautiful space that is an expression of your own personal style.
ReDesign is a process that we either uses the clients existing furnishings and accessories, or we can offer you a shopping service and add some keys pieces to give you that fresh new pulled together look . Dramatic results are accomplished and are often done in a day and can include one room or the entire house.
How to choose a ReDesigner
Inviting someone into your home can be rather personal. To make sure the process of working with the ReDesigner a pleasant one, take the time to do a little homework beforehand.
Among the most important considerations is communication. Ideally, you will choose someone with whom you are comfortable with. It should be someone who feels like a friend. If you find you’re not on the “same page” when you first meet it is unlikely things will change down the road.
Ask to see samples of previous work. A portfolio with photos of other projects can show you if they are actual working ReDesigner. Ask for the names of some previous clients. Contact a few and see what they have to say about the process. Having the opportunity to ask questions of someone who has worked with the designer can prove invaluable.
When hiring a ReDesigner some will offer you a free initial consultation. This is to quote a cost of the project, so you can decide if you like the designer and whether to go forward or not. Don’t expect them to give you their ideas for free. After all this is how they make a living They should be listening to your wants and needs to quote the job in question. If they do charge for the initial consultation, then they should be telling you all the ideas and speaking freely. They should provide you a full written report on the redesign process.
A lot of people are hesitant to hire a ReDesigner because they are afraid it will cost too much. This is a misconception. When you consider their time, knowledge and expertise , they will save you money in the long run.
